Yes you can "fix up" your diesel truck to reach these same power levels but it will cost big time. Run the numbers and any fuel savings will take years to pay back for the extra thousands of dollars you must spend for the diesel unless you drive a whole lot. I look forward to blowing the doors off the $ 40,000.00 diesel trucks. See ya!
