junked diesel tractor engine for stationary use

I need a 50-60+ hp diesel engine to run a sawmill. A decent engine from a wrecked, worn out or lousy tractor would be perfect. Any recommendations for what years/types/makes that I might look for in junkyards that would serve the purpose? Oddballs or orphans are probably ok. As usual money is the main issue. What should I expect to pay for such a beast? Are there engines for combines or other outmoded equiptment besides tractors that I should consider? Thanks so much.
