We used to have a few tractors that ran on propane and filled them off our 1000 gallon tank. Currently we run a Chevy truck on propane, use it to haul hay. Our 1000 gallon tank has a valve with a hose that attaches to the fitting on the truck tank. Open the bleader and open the valves and you are in busines. The connector is about 2 inches and is threaded. We also have an adapter that goes on the hose to fill any other propane tank, like for the grill and the forklift. Really a nice setup for us.
