Hi willy, What not too buy is a tri-axle tag trailer as they will reverse load hitch weight and no you can't load tongue heavy to stop it. There is no load sweet spot like on a tandum. I have not tried a GN tri-axle but I expect to see the same problems but just not as bad of a problem. When considering a GN hitch, the flat plate hitch will cause the truck frame rails to flex. There's not enough hieght on the flat plate design to stop this from happening. Is this a problem? Apparently not as lot of GN use this type of hitching. It is a problem for me as I tend to keep my pick-ups for ever. Buying trailers is just like buying trucks, always buy more than you need. T_Bone
