I have a IH 364. When I first got it the lift didn't want to go down. As soon as the engine was started the lift would raise unless there was a implement attached. Even then it would raise up when you opened the throttle a bit. Made it impossible to plow or bush hog. The previous owner had added a remote outlet & control lever that was mounted on the fender connected by hoses to the housing under the seat. The dealer had a 'block' that mounted where the two hoses came out of the housing that evidently allowed the fluid to flow from one area to the next allowing the lift to work properly. After removing the remote outlet and installing the block I've had no further problems. Perhaps a similar problem such as rerouted hydraulic hoses for the loader are effecting your lift. Just a thought.
