I have an H that I use only a few times a year. It is 6 volt. And that baby cranks right up. The key is being sure to have good battery cables. Not the house wiring they use on the new cars and trucks. I haven't had to charge that 6v battery yet. And it is at least 5 years old. Go 12V if aren't mechanic enough to keep the 6V system working.
