I have a problem with my M not shutting off. I replaced a old alternator with external regulator to a new alternator with internal regulator. I have the red #2 wire from plug hooked to BAT and the white #1 running to the coil. It starts and charges, but will not shut off. If I reverse these, it starts and charges and it DOES shut off. Now according to the parts people and everyone on here, the first one is the way it is suppose to be. So what am I doing wrong?
