The only thing I can think of Charles is maybe the stand pipe lifted when you took the valve off and is leaking a litlle at the bottom I've heard of this happening when people remove the blank to put the valve on, the stand pipe can get pulled from it's "O" ring at the bottom. Or not a good seal at the top. Good luck, Charlie
