I used to own a small motorhome (23'). I could almost fit it into a standard supermarket parking space. Still, it was enough different that a little training would have been real helpful, especially at first. After a few years I learned a few things, like those yellow advisory speed limit signs on curves are meant there for a reason! And you cannot make a right turn starting 1' away from the curb (unless you want to run over the feet of some pedestrians). I cannot imagine how these really old folks whose reflexes and vision have seen better days manage to guide those big tour bus size motorhomes down a busy freeway or a twisty 2 lane blacktop. I would have to agree with you.
