The old tractors of USA manufature had good metal castings. My understanding is that China melts down all sorts of 'stuff' & casts it - you get some bimetal, some hardened ball bearings that don't melt, and so on, making a poor casting. I would have difficulty buying a tractor off the back of a semi that visits the state once per year - just who do you complain to on warrenty issues, missing parts, and future parts needs? Do you think anyone is going to listen on the other end of the phone many states away?????? That truck is gone in 24 hours, you'll have that expensive crate of parts for a long time... As stated, for a person who wants a tractor just to have one, but isn't going to use it, they sure save you some money, but I'd still not buy one off the back of a traveling truck.... --->Paul
