Bob, you can run 1-2 ranges hotter as long as you aren't really loading it down. If you are running in parades or a light load like an auger, it should be fine. But if you have an urge to plow with it or do some heavy loads, swap out the plugs to the factory setting so you do not foul them out. Since most old tractors are not used hard anymore, the factory heat range plugs aren't the ones most people need. Good Luck! -Brad Wies
