Now im not anti-oliver tractors, but i remember reading that the oliver corporation tried to save money by eliminating the flushing process on some part, either the transmission or the hydraulic pump. I belived this saved about 1 dollar per tractor. Result: they had to recall hundreds of tractors to fix the damage that resulted. They just dont build things like they used to anymore. Now im just a kid (19) but after restoring a few tractors, i realize that the general quality of the products on the current market place are crap. We have some new tractors on our farm, and you have to be a computer programmer to do anything on them. Trucks are also the same way. Its a shame.
