"I've seen many people pay new prices for old beaten up equipment because they get sucked into the bidding fever." I was asking about the value of my 9 hole drawbar on my 2N a while back. It has the original Ford part # stamped into it when it was forged. The guys on the N board were saying it was worth over a $100 to the purists and collectors. One guy said he paid $20 for one at an auction and all the fellers were snickering about how he'd just paid more for an old one than you pay for a new one. He just snickered too. His post made me realize that some of them fools who pay too much might have seen something that I didn't.
