Big tractor values

I was at an auction last week. They had three real big prairie style 4 wheel drive tractors mixed in amongst the other tractors and equipment. One was a John Deere 8630, one was an IHC 4386, and one was a Versatile(can't remember the model). The John Deere brought the most ($4,900). The other two brought under $4,000. They started and ran all of them. They sounded good, didn't have any major leaks and didn't look rough.
If you wanted a big hunk of iron to push around snow, look at what you could get for not a lot of money!
Just no demand for tractors that big, I guess? Anybody else have similiar experiences?
