yea that is one thing that always scares me about my ford 8000,what happens if it blows a hydraulic hose on the power steering, it is a full hydrostatic steering system meaning that there is no mechanicle link from the steering wheel to the front wheels, it is all done hydraulicly so i suppose if i had a sudden loss of hydraulic fluid in the system i would be in for a heck of a ride.
