I do something a little different....Everytime I work on a project, say, burying a cable, pouring a slab, repairing or building a wall, etc., I hide a little note, and sometimes a souvineer. I've burried sealed bottles along cables with notes with info like the date, current gas price (with a short explanation what gasoline "was" used for), food prices, my name, childs name, little things that someone 100 years or more from now might find interesting, and maybe a commentary on current events. I guess I hope that anyone who should accidently find such stuff might give a darn. If they can still decode the language!
