Some peoples definition of a rebuild is replacing only the broken parts that prevent operation and a tube of gasket goo. If the injection pump can't make enough pressure, the injector tips are worn, the injectors are spraying at less than 2200psi. And if the coolant temp is less than 195F in a lightly loaded odd jobs tractor. She will slobber no matter if the rest of the engine was correct. The "oil" from the stack maybe diesel fuel mixed with soot. How clean is the aircleaner?
