Scott, Your reply to Jeff wasn't insulting, but it wasn't right, either. Adding alcohol to fuel will not prevent carburetor icing, contrary to popular belief. Carb icing occurs when moisture in the air freezes in the carb venturi and on the throttle plate. It's caused by the temperature drop in the carburetor. Nothing you can add to the fuel will prevent it. The only prevention is either to heat the intake air or else don't operate your tractor in icing conditions.
