If you think that alcohol in the fuel will prevent carb icing, try this: Go down to your local airport and see if any of the pilots will agree to let you disconnect their carb heat control cable in exchange for a case of dry gas. I don't think you'll get any takers.

If you want to believe that a can of gas line antifreeze will vaccinate your tractor against carb ice, that's fine, but it has no basis in fact. In every case of carburetor ice I've seen, the ice formed at the mouth of the venturi, well ahead of the main jet. I don't understand how your dry gas is supposed to fly upwind and attack ice on the venturi mouth.
