Les, A lot of us won't be able to afford running our old tractors if appeasing Arabs or French drives the price of oil -- past two bucks now -- and up to 3 bucks a gallon. Remember how before the last Gulf War -- they said there'd be he!! to pay and they were wrong; and afterwards oil dropped to 18 bucks a barrel. It's now 35 a barrel, nearly double. Also remember when we knuckled under to OPEC in '73 and the value of old or big thirsty fuel burners just plummeted? I don't want to think about Spring planting with gas or Diesel hovering between 2 bucks and 3 bucks a gallon. And I don't want to see the market for my beloved old tractors dry up and blow away because nobody can afford to fuel 'em. So take a bit broader view of things and consider that this might be the most important subject controlling the value and use of your tractor right now. Steve
