Echo the thoughts from the previous posters about building this thing on a loader frame. I have a Farmall M with a BushHog/Freeman #2000 loader (mid 1970's) on it. I removed the bucket and built a straight blade that's 8' wide and 44" tall. It's not perfect, but it will go through some pretty amazing stuff. Your H is lighter, but will still work well. I'd suggest a 7' blade and moving your rear wheels in to stay inside that distance by a couple of inches on each side. Chains are nice, and if you have ice under the snow or hills to fight, they are a must. It's flat in my part of Indiana, and I have a gravel road and driveway to plow, so I don't worry about chains. I do have extra wheelweights on each rear wheel and calcium in the tires. Stacking extra weight on the back will help also. I have a 16" drawbar extension on the back and lay two wheelweights on top of it and the rear portion of the drawbar. One big bolt holds those in place. You will find that when the blade is off the ground, the weight of the loader and blade will be carried by the front wheels of the tractor and rear wheel traction is reduced. Consider putting a couple of skid plates behind the loader, or some small wheels on the back to carry the load when pushing the snow. This will allow the loader to "float" if it is used with the Farmall "Liftall" single-acting hydraulic system, and keep more weight on the rear wheels where you really need it. Carry a shovel with you....
