I would saya set of rings and bearings would probably fix you up. The smike out the filler cap is an indication of compression rings. Out the exhaust pipe is an indication of oil rings or both. You can snatch the head off this tractor pretty easily. You can't orderany parts until you get it down since it may have any one of a variety of thinwall sleeves, high altitude pistons, undersized bearings, etc. Then, too, if it does require sleeves, these tractors had two different size sleeves at the lower end. They are a pretty forgiving engine.
