If you think it may be the carb and cannot change it, you can maybe fit an extra washer (or 2)under the float needle valve which would effectively reduce the fuel level in the carb and maybe improve things in the right direction. May just help with over-fuelling on the idle jet - or then again it might not help at all, just an idea which is easily reversed if NBG and doesn't need anything to be bent (and potentially busted). The next point to make is: what type of fouling do you have - is it from oil or fuel? I assume it's a gas engine, not kero, so plugs and temperature are not quite as critical but important, nevertheless and remember that if plugs are fouling there will also be a build up of deposits taking place on the valves and head as well. Also, are you working the tractor hard at all or is it just running light? They are designed for using all their horses, at least some of the time. Hope this helps. Regards,RAB
