Number 1: I don't want to keep a vehicle past 150,000 miles anyway. (most automatic transmissions will not last longer than that, especially if you do any amount of in town driving. Not to mention wheel bearings, door seals, rust, etc.) Number 2: I know of at least 20 vehicles off hand with 200,000 miles on the engine with cheapo oil and no problems. Regular maintenance makes a vehicle last, not miracle oils. How many of us are running old tractors that have probably well over 10,000 hours with a majority of those hours being when they were new - meaning that they had NON-detergent oil and sludge? Just a few thoughts to ponder...
