If in the USA just try the New Belarus website for the states. There you can find info on your closest dealer along with other stuff. They say there gonna get a service info board up and running too.

I have an 825 Belaurs 85hp with cab loader joystick and MFD. I picked up used with 1700hrs on it and payed basically what a new 'loader' would cost on a new JD of the same size!

For the $$$ I have invested and all the work it does its pretty hard to beat. Its not my main field tractor or anything by no means, but its always doing something around the yard with the loader or running augers, grain vac, raking hay and other odd jobs etc.

I don't know much about those smaller air cooled ones other than a customer of mine who has one. Its much older than yours buts its the same idea with the little aircooled motor. He bought it cheap for a $1000 bucks and put a clutch in it. He says at first he wondered what he got himself into but once he got it working he really likes it. After he got the Belarus he sold his old N Ford. Its was a sweet old tractor but he didn't use it anymore, plus he sold it for more than what he payed for the Belarus! The old ford was no comparison to his little diesel Belarus with MFD! He uses it on his acreage all the time for clearing snow, hauling logs and other things. If you picked it up used you probably got it cheap and a fraction of the cost of a used Kubota or JD that size. Plus you have a cab which is real nice if you have cold winters!

I've never had any problem with parts. Local dealer didn't even know I had one for years as I've never bought anything for it! Mine has washable air and oil filters.

They do have thier little quirks but over all not much different then any other piece of machinery. If you don't take care of it, it will give you greif. You can get an owner's manual from a dealer. They are very detailed and great if you like to do all your maintance yourself. The one I have for my 825 is really good, tells how to adjust pretty much everything on it.

My dealer says really the only thing that seems to give grief is the front wheel drive on some. They work good and are a simple design and all. But they have 5 gear boxes that hold gear oil in the front MFD axle assembly. You have to keep an eye on that oil and make sure it doesn't run low or else you will damage the gears. The ones to really watch are the little top angle gear boxes on each side. They can leak down to the bottom gear box and you won't see any oil leaking out! But the top gear box will be dry! There are tricks around it that I've seen. Also like any MFD tractor don't drive down the road with the MFD in gear!

Get the manual it will show you how and what to check.

Today's Featured Article - Third Brush Generators - by Chris Pratt. While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation. They all seem to start with a chapter entitled "Theory of Electricity". After a few paragraphs I usually close the book and go back to banging out dents. A good friend and I were recently discussing our tractor electrical systems when he stated "I figure it all comes back to applying Ohms Law". At this point ... [Read Article]
