Absolutely NOT! The 214t and the 14t are of the same vintage. The 24t and 224t are the following vintage, and the 214t is the heavy duty model. Likewise, the 224t is the heavy duty version of the 24t. A super heavy duty commercial baler, the 323w (16x18) was also built. The 14t was built from about 1954 to 1963, and the 24t from 1963 to about 1972 when it was replaced with the 336. The 24t has several product improvements over the 14t---more shields, wider pickup I believe, and perhaps more plunger strokes/minute.
