The 14T and 24T are the same vintage- the 24T is larger capacity. The "next generation" was the 214T and 224T. Ditto what the other reply said about the difficulties of baling with a non-live PTO. One good solution is to use a baler with its own engine, which many of the old JD's (and others) had.
