Why don't you consider a Massey Ferguson say a 35 or 65? I've heard nothing but good things about these tractors in gas or diesel form. You get a good selection of gears plus live hydraulics and pto without the need of the hand clutch like on the Allis's except the series 4 d-17's that had true live hydraulics. Plus there are a lot of Massey Ferguson dealers around.
