I really didn't get into the machine as I was on crutchs and wasn't in the best mood so I was having the owner try different things as I watched. Case dealer assured me that it was a split job tho. Of course he could have been fib'n too.

Dealer made a comment that they had already looked at the machine and the owner ran a back/hoe service and was going to buy another one to replace it so I think thats spooked me away. I figured it would be cheaper for him to repair it than buy another unkwon piece of equipment.
