T_Bone. Sure wish you could have went ahead and bought it. The problem you are refering to was the shuttle, not the transmission. The Shuttle is a small reverser that is mounted to the back of the engine. It can be dropped out in about 45 min. to an hour. A very simple basic automatic transmission set up. I overhauled one for a 580 Super E last year. The torque Convertor was still ok. We spent about 450.00 in parts. I put it back in by myself with just a floor jack on a sheet of plywood on the back lot.
