You need to figure the cost of an overhaul, and then subtract that amount. Also, you could add in the suspected cost to replace the LIKELY problem parts as well, like a rebuilt starter, rebuilt generator, gauges, that sort of thing. A running tractor is also one which has a starter which works (or a pony that runs) and you can check to see if there's output from the generator and if the gauges work. On a non-running tractor, assume the worst!
