you do not intend to continually
maintain heat in is a blower.
I have used a propane blower, 150K
BTU for a couple of years now. It
will bring an insulated garage up
to 60 deg F in about 30 minutes with
outside temperatures in the teens.
I bought mine from Home Depot. Propane
is about 1.50 per gallon here. They
fill by the gallon which is convenient.
Only one disadvantage, the propane tank
ices and the pressure goes low when
the tank begins to go low. I solved
that problem by setting it in a
water bath. I can complete empty a
tank before refilling. A thermostat
is available. It plugs into the electric
and shuts the unit off when it reaches
temp. You have to restart, though, as
it will not operate like a residential
furnace. It ran about 150.00.
