You are correct about "off-topic" posts, however that really isn't the point John. I don't think you should be rationalizing breaking a rule because someone else is breaking another one. The point is that Kim (who owns and runs this whole YT site) has clearly stated at the top of the page that advertising of any kind (for sale or wanted) is not allowed on the YT discussion forums. She's the boss and she alone can decide the rules of the game. You and I have no real say in the matter (although we can comment freely). End of debate I would say. She makes the rules and it is up to us to abide by them. I think there are over 1300 ads or something like that in the classifieds. I sure wouldn't want those plugged into the forum sites would you?
