I was trying to make one that wouldn't be too steep for a short trailer for a skidsteer or mini excavator. I'm using 10 inch I beams from a mobile home tongue for the chassis, and welding 12 inch I beams on their side on top of the chassis for tracks. The dovetail will drop 10 inches in about 3 feet. Then there will be a ramp up to there at about the same angle. That is about the same angle as my wheelchair ramp into the house.
