Serial # is located on metel tag, under the seat on tool box. If I remember correctly it will be on the right side of the toolbox. As for restoration kits, haven't seen anything as such. This site has lots of over haul kits. And others on this site will beable to direct you to other sources of needed parts. Also go to the Farmall forum on this site, lots of valuable knowledge to be had from individuals there. Good luck with your project. PS.. We are restoring a Farmall SC ourselves(belongs to my son Shawn)... Post pictures!! Keith & Shawn
