Used to have a 2090. The 2090's with powershift have a torque limiting clutch on the flywheel. Curious as to why you are concerned about a dry clutch for haying. Anything is going to need periodic repairs and maint. I got away from the 2090 (and 6 cylinders in general) when I went to a purely hay operation (no long using any tillage tools). I am in the process of going with Fords in the 5600-7710 series. With these you get a 4 cyl turbo diesel, good fuel economy, very affordable and available parts, and ease of service. Case in point; a clutch, clutch shop charges $300 to build a clutch in one of these and it takes me exactly 9 man hours to split, replace, and put back together. Usually need one about every 5000-6000 hours (4000 on loader tractors). A good 7710 C/H/A with loader will run you $10,000-15,000.
