Let me tell you a story about your roads. A couple days after Christmas, we had to travel to Newburyport to see my MIL who was in the horse spittle. We took I-93 to 101 and 121 into Haverhill. In New Hampshire, the roads were all bare and dry. (Remember the substantial storm we had on Christmas day.) As soon as we crossed into Mass, the main road (125) was bare but wet and slushy. When we turned onto a side street, nothing had been done to the road except to drive on it. Cars were buried in the snow on both sides of the streets. Navigation was akin to slalom with moguls. The only bare ground to be seen was where homeowners had used their own equipment to clear out their driveways. If that's what you think is getting what you pay for then you're welcome to it. But at least the kids were having fun.
