Well, Les, they ain't cheap. I'm not that old, but old enough to know that you do get what you pay for (I've know it even better since my wife got a better job!) And it's not just the engine, time will tell, but the whole machine is well built. The price was $2450 plus massivetaxes (5%). Of course, the roads are maintained well enough here so that I could actually get to the dealer before the next snow storm. I had called a tractor dealer just south of Nashua (Chapel Tractor maybe?) that was selling them for $2275 (minus massivetaxes, would have saved a bundle), but by the time I made it over those NH roads (again, you get what you pay for), they were all sold out! Based on more calling around, I think I might have gotten the last one in the land.
