I have operated an unstyled model A with a Deere front mounted two row cultivator. There was room to get next to the flywheel to start the tractor. When electric start first became available as an option, it was the main form of starting the tractor, as manual starting was the back-up. The corn picker in front does cause me to wonder though. I saw a picture of such a configuration on a GP model, don't know how you would get at the flywheel as the GP never was offered with electric start.
