The owner's manual says to remove filler plug, and drain plug on left side of unit, just in front of battery box. When fluid stops draining, run engine very breifly to drain fluid from pump and connecting pipes. There is also a strainer just forward of the drain plug, might be a good time to take out and clean. Refill capacity is 6 3/4 pints, 8 1/2 pints with remote cylinder, and 9 1/2 with fast hitch. Proper fill level is 1/2 inch below filler plug. If it is necessary to flush the system, they recommend flushing with hydraulic fluid, not kerosene, etc. Recommended fluid is "IH Touch-Control Fluid" - have no idea if it is still available. Some one else will have to speak to the available and best replacement fluids. Good luck!
