Jim: Speaking of drive sheds, I remember one about an old maid school teacher, lived on farm with brother and family. In her late forties purchased a car. Her oldest nephew being about 18 was given the task of teaching her to drive. She was always striking concrete posts of drive shed putting car away. Her brother hung a rope with weight to which she was suposed get centre of hood under. She still managed to hit the door posts. They forgot to tell her it wouldn't work if car were perpendicular to the door. The nephew now in his 80s can tell you some hair raising stories, everything from driving into river to going down hill backwards. My dad met her on road one day and she managed to hit his passenger door. Heard another one of two old guys trying to get ahead of each other at an intersection on way to church. They got front bumpers hooked and wound up on lawn of local drinking establishment. The Rev. passed this on his way to church. During service he suggested some parishoners not show such enthusiem for getting to church on time.

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion.
