Jim: It kind of similar to us driving these computers. I made a mess on the Farmall page yesterday, responded to myself when it was intended for someone else. Little item on Farmall 560 diesel engines blowing up. I had one when new needed more hp, money was tight, so turned 560 up to about 90 hp and ran it that way for 16 years and 11,000 hours. The day it blew up put two pistons out in middle of yard. Needless to say that was end of 560 as in 1978 spending $4,000. on a short block for a tractor with out 3 point, was not an option. There are countless stories across North America of those old timers and their first encounters with tractors, trucks and cars. It is a good thing those vehicles evolved. I would hate to see my grandfather heading off down road in todays traffic. these young people have no idea what it would be like. Far cry from the new modern auto with automatic and some of the pioneer vehicles.
