The problem of warranties is slowly beginning to disappear over here. Cars are outrageously expensive over here in the UK but an hours ferry ride to the continent can get you the same car at the same spec and right hand drive for literally thousands of pounds less. The only problem was warranties. The agents over here wouldn't touch a Euro sourced vehicle. BUT Europe is now a free market so they now have to honour the warranties. Then again a Ford is a Ford is a Ford no matter where you buy it and as such must have some sort of manufacturers warranty. I'm sure Ford or any other manufacturer cant ignore a warranty just because a product is in a different country to where it was sold. Where are all these common markets and trade treaties etc that are supposed to exist. Am I just thinking out loud now or do I have valid points.
