Are you imterested in new or near-new tractor, or an older model? Older models are a lot cheaper, but there is a bit more upkeep. You need to decide if live pto, power steering, hydraulic couplers, narrow or wide front end, front loader, & 3-point is important to you. Let us know if this is the direction you wish to go, this is probably as good a place as any to find good info. You could get a real good one for under $7000, and a pretty good one for under $3000 if this is the direction you want. Or, you can get a new compact tractor, most all are about the same if you buy from NH, JD, Kubota, or the other major names. (Stay away from the cheaper China tractors, they have some issues with quality & parts availability.) These tractors will cost $15-20,000 new, over $10,000 slightly used. There are other web sites that address these newer tractors better than this one, altho I'm sure some will be happy to help too. --->Paul
