Hi Terry. Hopefully it's a brass reducer. If brass or steel then take a hack saw blade and cut the bushing in 4 places just until you hit the block threads, do not saw into the block threads, then use a small chisel to colaspe the bushing in pieces to the inside diameter. Plumbers have a special hacksaw handle that will accept a single blade just for this problem. It leaves the blade tip exposed so it can fit in holes easy to make the cuts. I think you'll just waste time trying to use an easyout. Do not rush this job or you will be pulling the head/pump! T_Bone
