I am finishing up a 40x60 pole barn that I am using for a shop, and just wanted to suggest if you want the barn weather tight consider sheathing it first. I used OSB 4x8 sheets to sheath my whole building, then 15lb felt, then the rough sawn pine. The rough pine was pretty straight but no way would the building have been air tight if I used the pine alone over the purlings. I plan on being out there in the winter and it was definately worth it.
