tractor/mower suggestions

What tractors would you-all suggest would work well
with a 6 foot belly mower and pulling one of those
trac-vac or cyclone rakes ? The only one that comes to mind for me is a 8n.
Newer is of course better, but I can't rattle off
the other makes Enough horsepower to pull a 6' or 8' bush hog
someday is a secondary consideration. I just don't think I can get myself to spend $12k
for a new jd x485.
