I'm a huge Townsend oil tractor fan. I have a 1918 Townsend 12-25 which has been in my family since the late 20's. We demonstrate our engine every year at threshing, sawmill, shelling, shredding (anything with a pulley) in South Dakota, Iowa & Minnesota. We've been written about in Antique Power magazine.

I'm aware of a handfull of Townsends in the midwest but not sure if anyone knows how many are left in the country and their whereabouts. It would be fun to talk to other owners and learn what they're doing for parts etc.... Do you know where any are located and to you have contact with other owners?
