First off I really don't think anyone would be as dense as to think a plywood floor would hold up a tractor. In order to properly convert one you would have to build a sub frame with cross members for the 2x floor you would put in, basically you would be building a trailer deck on the bus frame. Would strengthen it up quite a bit I would say. I have a subscribction(I know I didn't spell that right) to a magazine, anyhow you get the idea, I hope, that shows many buses converted to flatbed trucks. I had opportunity to buy one converted several years ago and kick myself everytime I think about it. Could have got it for $350.00 and if memory serves it did run. Also being as it is designed for hauling kids I would think the frame and all would be built pretty strong. I will have one myself before too long when I get in better position to get one.
