As I can tell a few of you have never worked on a school bus. If you check the frame it is larger then a C-60 or a F-600 Two ton truck. The brake system is great usually having a dual system. That is a double resivor and two lines to each wheel and two wheel cylinders on each. It id a double brake system. The reason for the limits for the kids is all saftey and not weight. The first chance you get measure the frame thickness on your 2 ton dump then a bus you will see that they are usually twice the thickness. The only possible problem you would have with the conversion is the axle being so far forward. I say move it back and add another section in the drive shaft or add a air drop axle behind the drive axle.
